We are located in Laurel, MD, a suburb of Washington DC. We service the Baltimore-Washington Metropolitan area.
Do you ship cakes and cupcakes?
Cakes and cupcakes are very fragile. Decorated cakes and cupcakes are easily damaged via transit, therefore, in order to preserve their structural integrity, we do not ship our decorated cakes and cupcakes. We offer Loaf Cakes, Bundt Cakes, Cake in a Jar and a Cake Tasting On The Go Box that can be shipped within the United States via USPS Priority Mail. These cakes can be ordered in our Online Store.
What items do you offer for shipping?
We offer a variety of Cookies, Brownies, Caribbean Pastries, Bundt Cakes, Loaf Cakes, and Whoopie Pies for nationwide shipping. Please visit our Online Store to order.
How do I place an order?
Custom cake and custom cupcake orders can be placed through the order form on our Order A Cake page. Inquiries will be answered within 24-48 hours. Custom cakes and cupcakes require a lot of advance planning and scheduling so please give at least four weeks notice. Once your order and details are finalized, a Paypal invoice will be sent to your email address for payment.
What is the price range for your custom cakes?
Due to the individuality of our cakes and cupcakes, prices may vary based on details, intricacy of design, and number of people you need to serve. Our buttercream cakes have a starting price of $10 per serving. Fondant covered cakes, cakes with fondant decorations and other edible and non edible decor will have a higher starting price. Final pricing will be determined upon finalizing of your order. Please send inquires via our order form.
Do I have to pay a deposit?
Custom cakes and cupcakes will not be put into production without a deposit of at least 50% of your total amount due. Remaining balance is due one week prior to order due date. Deposits must be paid within 24 hours of receiving your invoice and are non refundable. Wedding Cake deposits are due 6 weeks prior to event date. Final balance is due two weeks prior to date. Deposits are non refundable. Your deposit guarantees your place on our baking schedule and starts production needed to complete the order.
Do you offer delivery?
Delivery is required for custom cake and cupcake orders. Delivery is complimentary for locations within 20 miles of our location in Laurel, MD. Delivery fee applies for locations beyond a 20 mile radius from Laurel, MD and is determined based on distance. Items in our online store require mail delivery and are delivered via USPS Priority Mail.
